LUNCH CLUB
Every month, on the first Wednesday, the Lunch Club meets for Soup and Sweet from 12 noon to 2.00.
There is always a choice of three wholesome homemade soups and three scrummy puddings plus tea and coffee – all served to you at your table. There are always seconds available and sometimes thirds for those who can manage it! All that for £5.00
We are a very friendly bunch, lots of chatter and regular friendly faces returning each month.
Please join us, you would be very welcome. Lifts can also be arranged so there’s no excuses!
NEW HORIZONS
New Horizons was formed ten years ago to help widows and others affected by loss to adjust to life without their soulmate. It is only when you have experienced this loss that you can truly empathize with others facing this lone journey.
The group meet on the first Monday of every month from 2.00 pm to 4 pm in Colbury Church Rooms. We chat over tea and cake, only occasionally have a speaker, form friendships with other members and learn to laugh again. We discuss how to be independent and how to find new purpose in life.
If you’d like to join us please come along, you will find a warm welcome from ladies who understand what you are going through.
